    • Glucose or Lactulose Breath Test

    • Endoscopy or colonoscopy with biopsies

  • Dr. Zarrin practices both Traditional Gastroenterology and Integrative Gastroenterology. Both practice ideologies complement each other. Integrative Gastroenterology bridges the gap left by Traditional Gastroenterology in the following ways:

    • While Traditional Gastroenterology focuses on organic illness and pharmaceutical or procedural interventions, Integrative Gastroenterology focuses on holistic and sustainable solutions to functional imbalances.

    • Sustainable, holistic lifestyle evaluations and interventions take time. Traditional Gastroenterologists are restricted by health insurance payment models in regards to the time they are allotted to spend with each patient.

    • Cultivate Integrative Gastroenterology and Nutrition allows Dr. Zarrin the time he needs to deeply assess the root causes of a patient’s problems and formulate individualized holistic care plans.

  • Yes, Dr. Zarrin is a board certified Gastroenterologist who performs Upper Endoscopy and Colonoscopy.

    Should you be unable to perform these tests with Dr. Zarrin due to proximity, you can have them performed by another Gastroenterologist and send your procedure reports and pathology reports to Dr. Zarrin via our secure portal.

  • We accept FSA/HSA payments as well as credit or debit card payments.

    We do not directly accept health insurance, however we will provide you with an itemized invoice for medical services which you can submit to your insurance and FSA/HSA for potential reimbursement.

  • If you suffer from symptoms or have an illness, at the very least you can expect to feel better. You can also expect to gain a better understanding of how your individual body works and what you can do to make sure you are optimizing your health.

  • No, we do not have a physical office. We offer virtual consultations only.

  • Currently, we only see patients in the state of Maryland. However, we are planning to expand our services into more states in the near future.
